Genetik® LAB – Relais

The Genetik® LAB is our ski shop and workshop at the Le Relais ski centre in Lac-Beauport. It's where our entire ski inventory lives: a wide selection of skis, boots, helmets, goggles and gloves, picked and fitted by skiers. And in the same place, our technicians get your equipment ready for the slopes.

The ski shop

Alpine and race skis, boots, bindings, poles, helmets, goggles and accessories: our whole ski selection is at the LAB, including Rossignol, Atomic, Head, Lange, Dynastar, Look, Leki, POC, Oakley, Smith and Sweet Protection. We take the time to understand your level, the way you ski and your budget to give you straight advice, then we mount and adjust your gear on site.

Helmets, goggles and gloves: one of the biggest selections in the area

This is where we stand out. The LAB carries a very large selection of ski helmets, ski goggles, and gloves and mittens, for adults and juniors. Lenses for flat light or bluebird days, helmets fitted to your head and matched to your goggles, warm gloves for January mornings or lighter ones for spring: you can try everything on site, with someone who knows the product.

The ski workshop

Genetik's ski workshop has a reputation as one of the best-equipped and most knowledgeable in the Quebec City area.

  • Ski tuning: sharpening, base structure, wax, full or custom tune-up, 30-minute express service.
  • Binding mounting: drilled or rail mount, adjustment included.
  • Repairs: P-Tex base repair, delamination, edge repair.
  • Boot fitting: consultation, liner heat molding, shell punch, lifters and heated insoles, by appointment.
  • Season tuning passes: sharpening and wax all season long, individual or family.
